Goettingen “Pro-Stab”

The Pro-Stab system developed by Dr Arndt Jähnig from Göttingen is a removable treatment device for correcting the widespread mandibular advancement (Class II/1 and Class II/2).
It consists of two removable brackets for the upper and lower jaw, which are connected to a joint (Pro-Stab). These joints are located in the cheek pockets and increase wearing comfort.
In addition, further corrective elements can be accommodated in the loose brackets in order to move individual or several teeth in a targeted manner. Depending on which jaw requires more treatment, the clasps can also be worn individually thanks to the variable attachment of the pro-rods (modular system).
